Surf Widow

I am a mom of an amazing little girl who inspires me every day. I started sewing after she was born because I couldn't find what I wanted and when I looked at boutiques I was cocky enough to tell myself that I could make it. At first I made a lot of horrible mistakes, and I still do. My most utilized sewing instrument besides my sewing machine is my seam ripper. I am still learning and every time I finish a project I become more confident to make more. I love to quilt and wrap up in one of my creations, but I hate being called "The quilt lady". (Thanks for adding on 70 years to my life!). I love making my own handbags, the cheaper the better. I love making dolls and original things for my daughter.
When I'm not sewing I am at the beach hunting for sea shells, taking long hot bubble baths, doing yoga and watching foreign films. I am a surf widow, and my husband is a sewing widow. I'm also into going to movies by myself and eating chocolate croissants while in my underwear listening to Bob Marley. My inspirations come from fantasy, my child, anything retro, fabrics, tea party anything and other sewing blogs.
